Overview & Responsibilities

What’s the role of QRO (Quality & Regulatory Operations) at General Mills?

We lead programs and provide technical expertise to ensure the safety, regulatory compliance and quality of General Mills food.

What will I do?

  • Protect General Mills’ brands and consumer trust by ensuring products meet and exceed global quality and safety standards
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement in food safety and quality throughout the product lifecycle
  • Lead product safety, quality and sanitation program development and implementation

Interns will experience a robust 10-week program leading business critical projects.

Where will I work?

Starting assignments include a variety of manufacturing locations across the country.

Qualifications

Who’s qualified to apply?

YOU, if you’re pursuing any degree, but typically a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D degree in Food Science or Engineering (primarily Chemical / Food Process / Packaging / Industrial / Material Science) and have a strong academic record – typically a 3.0 GPA or higher.
