Overview & Responsibilities

As the Associate Channel Marketing Manager (ACM) for the Custom Commercial team, you will be responsible for the creation of key operator and consumer first marketing growth strategies and plans that achieve the aggressive growth targets of the Custom channel – one of Convenience & Foodservice’s (C&F) key growth accelerators!

If you are looking for an opportunity to simplify complex situations, lead teams through ambiguity, and own a high-profile growth business, this is the job for you!  You will have an opportunity to partner with sales, develop customer relationships, and autonomously lead the commercialization of key initiatives for key restaurant chains.

In this role, you’ll gain broad experience helping lead a large priority business for the C&F segment. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the ability to create compelling insight-driven strategies as well as rallying internal teams to activate meaningful plans that deliver value to those we serve.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide strategic direction & lead cross-functional teams to achieve Custom Channel’s aggressive annual targets
    • Create strategies and that will identify and drive strong growth for Custom Channel
    • Develop relationships and partner with cross-functional team to advance custom opportunities
    • Lead volume and forecasting responsibilities for Custom in the PEAK process
    • Provide data and performance summaries; translate insight into action
    • Represent channel insights to monthly Foodservice Demand Review
    • Provide product details for marketing & sales materials
  • Drive Growth and Holistic Margin Management (HMM)
    • Identify opportunities & needs for innovation and renovation across product platforms
    • Serve as the Custom Channel lead for new product development
    • Develop Go-to-Market strategies and manage in-market execution of new and renovated items
    • Drive high growth and improved profitability across portfolio 
  • Lead Project Management for Custom
    • Manage project timeline using the Critical Path Worksheet (CPW)
    • Drive input of cross-functional data for package creation and/or renovation (via ECLIPS) 
    • Maintain reporting & communication (financial, project, HMM, risk/opportunity tracking) for Custom initiatives
    • Lead with a continuous improvement mindset, identify and recommend ways to improve process
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years related business experience
  • Strong project management skills: ability to manage and prioritize across multiple complex projects (Attention to detail & accuracy)
  • Cross Boundary Effectiveness
  • Strong PC Skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
  • Excellent communication skills
