Overview & Responsibilities

This position supports the strategy and the implementation of Global Security’s physical security technology initiatives globally. The priority for this role is to serve as the daily point-of-contact for the execution of all physical security technology integration initiatives that promote the global standardization, centralization, and automation strategy. While supporting Global Security’s physical security focus area, this position will work closely with Global Security’s senior leadership team, business security managers, global functions, business segments, and third-party vendors.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and schedule physical security projects while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining security processes and measures aimed at mitigating security risks
  • Conduct physical security technology discovery initiatives in support of the overall physical security technology strategy
  • Collaborate on the development of training procedures and instruction on the use of new and existing security technology
  • Assist with the road mapping for the migration, implementation, stability & support services, maintenance, and life cycle management of Global Security’s physical security technology platforms
  • Monitor the end-to-end process for all integration projects leveraging third-party vendors
  • Communicate the security strategy, purpose, and intent to stakeholders at the site-level to achieve alignment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2 years related experience
  • Ability to respond to strategic direction, recognize leadership intent, and re-prioritize workload accordingly
  • Strong technical knowledge of available physical security technologies
  • Experience building and leveraging cross-functional partnerships within a matrix organization
  • Ability to present technical findings in a clear and concise manner to a non-technical audience
  • Flexibility to respond 24/7 to urgent matters with a bias for decisive action

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Physical Security Professional (PSP)
  • Certified Protection Professional (CPP)
  • Equivalent public sector experience
