Overview & Responsibilities

Position: Sr Analyst/ Consultant

Function: Solution Development

  • Has a good experience and knowledge on one or more modules (Demand Planning, Supply Planning & Deployment, Finite Scheduling) of APO planning tool
  • Preferably worked with supply chain business/domain
  • Develop close partnership with business users to truly understand needs and facilitate connections to GBS IT &
  • Able to resolve and address critical APO planning related issues
  • Provide first class service and proactively work to improve overall environment stability and ease of support.
  • Develop close partnership with business users to truly understand needs and facilitate connections to GBS IT & Engineering to ensure end to end solution optimization.
  • Use a broad range of continuous improvement tools to provide insights, drive out waste, and improve system performance.
  • Provide training and mentoring of support community across the field.
  • Rotational off-hour support.

Education: Bachelors/ Masters

Experience: 7+ years

Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed:

  • Partner with the key business contacts to understand business issues, identify opportunities and take initiative to implement. 
  • Acquainted to MRP/MPS transactions in SAP ERP in general
  • Has significantly contributed towards enhancements and customizations within APO space or APO integration with ERP
  • Able to support Day to Day operations & Technical Upgrade
  • Adhere to the OLA and SLA timelines
  • Drive systemic improvements in system health through identification of key re-occurring theme and deep understanding of end to end system knowledge
  • Facilitate/Support operational initiatives .

Required Skills:

  • 7 years or more of SAP ECC experience with a minimum of 3+ years of configuration experience including project implementations.
  • 1-2 Full-life cycle SAP implementation experience.
  • Must be aware of CIF interface and integration between APO and ERP
  • Must have excellent written and verbal skills, including technical writing.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to take ownership and drive to successful outcomes.
  • Ability to participate in meetings to understand stakeholder requirements.

  • Track record as a strong team player with effective teamwork and communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills – can deal and communicate effectively in English (both in writing and verbally) with systems colleagues and business users
