Overview & Responsibilities

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced project manager and digital ad operations expert to be the first to fill this new position as Sr Planner, Marketing Operations, part of our growing Data and Analytics team. This team is piloting new ways of working and needs a strong lead at the center to keep a variety of workstreams and campaigns on time and on budget. You will support an agile test, learn and scale approach as the team drives forward a high velocity of data-informed, human solution-oriented initiatives. You will be coordinating projects, providing campaign analysis, managing budgets and overseeing execution by working with internal and external partners and stakeholders. This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing and media processes as you’ll ensure flawless tactical planning and execution. We’re looking for someone with a strong growth mindset who is looking for their next challenge. Operating within an agile and iterative marketing approach, you will help accelerate our growth as part of a talented cross functional team.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Project Management

  • Work with the broader Data and Analytics team to manage a variety of planning and measurement projects ensuring they are on time, within scope and on budget
  • Translate digital plan elements into requirements and timelines, communicate needs and track progress of deliverables
  • Develop, implement and own project management processes for the team

Campaign Management

  • Coordinate the people, assets and execution partners to traffic digital campaigns, ensuring our campaigns are accurate and delivered on time
  • Monitor campaign pacing, delivery and performance using metrics from a variety of sources including Google Ad Manager, Google Analytics, video players, social platforms and third-party measurement tools
  • Identify and communicate areas of opportunity and/or risk

Budget Oversight

  • Oversee and track campaign-specific and overall program budgets
  • Leverage internal tools to setup purchase orders and execute billing
  • Work with internal Finance partners on troubleshooting and providing regular budget updates
Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field
  • 3+ years digital marketing experience at an agency or consumer-focused marketing organization
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Understanding of digital media, including media planning and activation, ad serving and tracking tools, tag management systems, reporting and analytics
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management principles and experience working in Smartsheets, JIRA, Basecamp, Trello or other similar project management tools
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration and verbal/written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and or G Suite / Google Apps

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working in an agile marketing or development process
  • Passion for digital thinking, innovation and ideation
  • Experience in digital ad sales operations
