Established in 1990, Cereal Partners Worldwide is a long-standing partnership between Nestlé & General Mills, bringing together the world-class capabilities of both companies. Headquartered in Switzerland, CPW employs 4,000 employees and is present in 130 markets. CPW is a leading global breakfast cereal company behind some of the world’s most iconic breakfast cereals brands – think Nesquik, Cheerios, Fitness and Chocapic among others.

 

CPW team in GCI Mumbai is an extension of CPW central Growth Analytics team, and is expanding its capabilities to include quantitative and qualitative insights and analytics capabilities. This is a newly created Manager role, who will lead CPW Mumbai Consumer Insights and Analytics organization, with three people (i) Syndicated Research (ii) Consumer Intelligence (Qualitative Research) and (iii) Analytics reporting into him/her. This person will partner closely with the CPW Data Stewardship and Visualization team responsible for CPW’s Global Reporting in Mumbai to support central and regional insights teams.

Shift timing: 11 AM to 8 PM

We are a team of experts who specialize in understanding consumer behavior and bring the voice of consumers to our marketers and innovation teams. This helps General Mills make products people love.

Technically, this team has experts in data management, data analysis, advanced analytics and research methods and tools. These teams work on initiatives that are critical to understand consumers, understand business performance and helps business see the opportunities and unmet consumer needs.

Some of the areas of expertise for us include qualitative and quantitative research, primary research, retail measurement science, social media listening. We have Data Science and Advanced Analytics as well!

Operational Responsibilities – 90% of time
– Provide strategic insights on business performance, growth opportunity assessment, competitive intelligence, budget optimization, pricing and promotion effectiveness.
– Use powerful story telling to deliver strategic insights to the business.
– Responsible to drive holistic reviews connecting multiple capabilities: syndicated research, visualisation, market mix modelling, analytics and consumer intelligence (consumer survey, social media, secondary sources).
– Partner with business leaders (global and regional); internal teams (reporting, syndicated research, consumer intelligence, analytics) and agencies on over-arching projects.
– Evaluate new data analytics and technologies capabilities to drive business growth .
– Lead and mentor CPW Mumbai team members, build and scale capabilities and engagement with central teams.

Self-Development – 10% of time
– Keep self updated with latest tools & technology
– Participate in project related trainings
– Make presentations on the right forum

Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed:
– Deep CPG insights expertise with demonstrated analytical ability on strategic business questions
– Syndicated researcher with expertise on Nielsen POS, Panel, Consumption, Mintel, Media data
– Connected insights – Ability to evaluate multiple sources of data, stitch together an integrated point of view with actionable recommendations for business
– Stakeholder relationship management, organisation navigation, effective communication
– Quick learner, team player, proactive, growth and solution mindset
– Knowledge of quantitative analytics techniques to solve business problems would be highly desirable.
