Deliver high quality, personalized customer service to employees, retirees, managers and HR in a fast moving team environment.  Receive and respond to inquiries and requests involving pension benefits, retiree health plans, and general retirement matters.  

Responsibilities:

-Provide counseling and information on the company’s pension and retiree health plans to employees and retirees over the phone, in person, and in writing.
-Process pension and retiree health estimates and elections for employees.
-Process annual enrollment for retiree health plans.
-Perform research and follow-up activities as needed. Work with specialists to resolve issues and communicate results/findings with the customer.
-Work to simplify and improve processes and procedures to enhance service or improve departmental effectiveness.
-Assist with all other aspects of Retirement Service Center operations, projects and administrative tasks, as needed.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, Bachelor’s degree in Any major preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to learn and apply detailed subject matter relating to pension and retiree health benefits, calculations, plan provisions, and system functionality
  • Pension, retiree health, benefits, and/or customer service knowledge/experience preferred
  • Strong mathematical and technical aptitude
