Overview & Responsibilities

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Data Management
    • Create & develop region reporting (IRI, Market 6, 84.51) – Sales POS, Supplier Budgets, Competitive Market Share, Shopper Behavior Analysis, Clicklist
    • Serve as region expert on pulling and understanding key drivers from customer and internal data sources
    • Support Kroger Data relationships with Market 6, IRI, 84.51 – Partner with SDM on engagement and interaction plan, region training
    • Develop and maintain data visualization platforms through excel, Tableau, PowerPoint, IRI, etc.
    • Coordinate reporting standardization across sales planning teams (pricing, OOS, special packs, scope)
    • Support Kroger Data Governance and Data Lake project work with GBS
  • Category Management
    • Lead CatMan Kompass process flow
    • Category Strategy work supporting remaining BCL team
    • Lead Monthly Distribution recap and communication process
  • General Business Management
    • Analyze businesses trends in an ad hoc or iterative nature quickly & efficiently
    • Support KLT data requests
    • Support SDM – Strategic Planning process planning, Executive customer engagement, monthly distribution communication
  • Manage 1 direct report with following topline responsibilities:
    • Refresh and communication of region reporting developed by BCL
    • Maintain and own region product attribution across data platforms to match and maintain General Mills product hierarchies
    • Own distribution grids and distribution planner maintenance

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2+ years selling experience
  • Proven analytical skills, computer proficiency, and experience working with syndicated data, such as ACNielsen and IRI.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of selling experience with direct account and retail involvement is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrates ability to leverage Data Analytic concepts to identify business gaps and opportunities
  • Has intangible ‘grit’ and holds themselves accountable to achieving outstanding results
  • Has passion for Sales, our Customers and our Consumers
  • Open to relocation
