Job Details

Overview & Responsibilities

Office 365 & SharePoint (2010/ 2013/ 2016) Administrator responsible for

  • Set up and manage Search, understanding of search engine optimization.
  • Troubleshoot, monitor and tune SharePoint farm as needed, including server and database for on premises & cloud SharePoint (O365).
  • Understand and manage multi-tier farm architecture.
  • Installation of security patches & Cumulative updates, create and maintain backups. Test and apply service packs for on premises SharePoint.
  • Review all customizations for impact, install and activate farm features or 3rd party add-ons as needed.
  • Manage user synchronization through integration with authentication systems (eg. LDAP).
  • Hands on experience of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS and Internet Information Services 8.0,7.5 & 6.0.
  • Knowledge of System Security, Firewalls and SSL.
  • Experience in Extranet, Intranet and Internet portals.
  • Experience on multiple methods for SharePoint migrations

·         Manage Office 365 groups, including creating, deleting, and restoring groups, and changing group owners.

·         Configures & manage Skype for Business

·         Manage all aspects of Microsoft Teams, including policies for calling, messaging, and meetings

Minimum years of related experience required:

3+ supporting/delivering complex IT solutions

Preferred years of related experience:

5+ supporting/delivering complex IT solutions

Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed:

  • Experience with SharePoint 2010, 2013, 2016 and O365
  • PowerShell, SQL database administration, IIS, Windows Server administration.
  • SharePoint backup tools if any? (AvePoint).
  • SharePoint migration tools if any? (Metalogix).
  • Understanding of networking and system architecture.
  • Preferred Skype/ Microsoft Teams administration experience
